The festival goes from September 21-25 with events to please across town.
Famous for its Dunny Derby, the 26th-anniversary of the festival comes with a bumper lineup in 2021 including major events such as the Outback Century Cycle Challenge, Outback Iron Man and Women, Sunset Charity Gala Dinner, as well as daily outback kids fun and a swag full of live entertainment.
The festival is busy preparing for its busiest and biggest festival yet.
Festival Director Robyn Stephens said they had plenty of interest from travellers all over Australia eagerly awaiting to visit Winton for the festival.
"Now they can finally get their hands on the full festival program and tickets, and really start planning their way to Winton," Ms Stephens said.
"There really is no better way to see Outback Queensland than with a road trip to celebrate Winton's famous Outback Festival. This year we will be celebrating a new line-up of entertainment and events during the five day and night program,"
With the Outback Festival held in the September school holidays, it adds to the ultimate family road trip experience and organisers have added 150 powered camping sites to keep up with the demand of campers.
There will be new events added to the festival program including Morning Melodies Show and the Western River Adventure Trail Run.
The festival will celebrate Winton as the birthplace of Qantas in its centenary year. The Winton chapter of Qantas began when the birth of Qantas was announced on November 16th, 1920 in Winton with the initial registration of the company - Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Ltd.
Headlining the live music lineup is James Blundell and also includes Left of Centre Band, Kiernan McCarthy, Buddy Holly Tribute, The Candy Shop Show, Will Day, Ultimate Creedence Revival Tribute Show, Baalo Baajo, Pixie Jenkins and more.
Tckets for the festival are now on sale for the full week of entertainment and the Gold Festival Pass encompasses the Tuesday Opening Concert, Morning Melodies and Friday Concert Series, including the hilarious Dunny Derby.
The Bush Poet Breakfasts and Sunset Dinner Extravaganza, two of the festival's most popular events, and are available to be purchased separately.
