Splashez will be open from noon Monday September 27 until 7pm, and then into normal summer hours from Tuesday.
All Adult Fitness Classes including Swim Fit and Aqua kick off from Tuesday.
The pool has been closed for seven weeks due to renovations and now pool managers say the main shade structure with solar panels is complete and ready for us to open the doors from 12 noon on Monday 27th September.
"This shade is amazing providing much needed relief from the sun at the end of the 50m pool and with the solar install, we can help to reduce the electricity costs at the centre also," Splashez said on their Facebook page.
From the start of school term, Wednesday evenings they close at 5:30pm due to Mount Isa Heat Swim Team club night.
Monday October 4 is a public holiday and the pool will be open between 10:30am and 5:30pm.
Mount Isa's swimming pool closed August 8 for what was planned as a six-week outage park of the planned $7.5m upgrade to the Family Fun Precinct.
Planned work on the facility include putting in new shade structures, new barbecues, new lighting, solar roofing and there will be a private function area that people will be able to hire out.
There will also be upgrades to the perimeter fencing and walls which ties in with a similar piece of work at the fun park next door.
