Speaking on Thursday morning, Health Minister Yvette D'Ath said it was "wonderful news" following zero cases yesterday.
Ms D'Ath said there were one new case in hotel quarantine and five more on a bulk carrier west of Cape York but the Chief Health Officer said there was no risk to Queenslanders.
There are now 31 active cases after 14998 tests on Wednesday.
"The message is clear, if you have symptoms, get tested," Ms D'Ath said.
This was after 20559 vaccines were administered on Wednesday with over five million doses in Queensland
"We want to keep those numbers going up," the Health minister said.
She said there are now 49.3pc of eligible people who have been doubly vaccinated
"We are so close to 50pc," she said.
"This weekend there will be a big vaccination push."
