Townsville-based All Abilities Watersports Inc in conjunction with the Mount Isa Waterski Club, will be holding a come-and-try event at Lake Moondarra on Sunday, October 17, from 9am-4pm.
All Abilities Watersports took over Cloncurry's Chinaman Creek Dam on Wednesday and now they will be at the Lake from Thursday giving access to the lake for people with disabilities.
It will be open to allcomers on Sunday.
It will be a chance to have some fun and get out on the water to try waterskiing, knee boarding, wakeboarding or tubing, or just relax on the water's edge.
You'll have access to a boat, safety equipment and coaching will be provided.
You just need to bring a hat, sunscreen, togs, towel, chair, water bottle, lunch and change of clothes.
Food and drinks will be available.
