Down south, Tasmanians are waiting with baited breath as they await test results. The primary contacts of the coronavirus-infected hotel quarantine escapee are being returned. The south of the island are currently in a snap three-day-lockdown after the infectious man spent 18 hours in the community.
News is more positive in NSW, as the state gets more freedoms following an 80 per cent fully vaxxed milestone. On Monday, NSW can celebrate community sports and dancing at hospitality venues. Other freedoms include fully vaccinated people can have up to 20 people in their homes and 50 people can gather outdoors.
