MITS are getting into the seasonal spirit by performing a pantomime called "Bah Humbug".
As the name suggests it will be a pantomime version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
MITS publicity manager Jenelle Robartson said pantomines were a British Christmas tradition that date back to the 1600s.
"Everyone goes in the weeks leading up to Christmas and I thought a Mount Isa audience would really love to see what is all about," Ms Robartson said.
Mr Robartson said Bah Humbug was suitable for families or even a great idea for a Christmas Party.
"This is a huge amount of Christmas fun, with Christmas carols and cheer galore," she said.
"The Spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future take Scrooge on a journey to find his Christmas joy.
"This cast is huge with 22 people on stage, including a cast of kiddies and of course the famous Tiny Tim."
Bah Humbug is playing at the MITS theatre on Fridays and Saturdays October 29 to November 20.
Tickets are $37.50 available at www.mountisatickets.com.au
