President of the club Luke Daniels told ABC north west's Zara Margolis that it was "a great time to be involved in racing" on Wednesday morning.
He said more than 350 tickets had pre-sold ahead of the weekend, and also noted that an increasing number are grabbing their tickets at the gate with a big crowd expected for one of the 'grand finale' events for the year.
There is an ominous forecast for a bit of rain on Friday, which Mr Daniels said could be impactful to racing if it does come through, but the club will be doing their best to get everything underway.
"Unless it's significant we'll push forward," he said.
The club has more than 40 nominations for its five race card as well as the regular crowd favourites trackside, Mr Daniels said.
"We've got the usual stuff, we'll have the bookies and a bit of entertainment hopefully through to 9.30 or 10pm," he said.
"[And] the Cloncurry Fashions Series final will be held after the last race so hopefully everyone whose interested we can show what we've got to offer in that department."
The club has also opened up camping options for race goers at its last few meets and that will continue with Mr Daniels saying it was a move to ease congestion for accommodation providers in town as well as providing a bit of travel relief for eager racegoers from out of town.
"You're welcome to set up a caravan or a tent," Mr Daniels told the breakfast announcer.
Gates open at 11.30am with the racing to start at 1.10pm.
