Playing North West Queensland venues this week Bigger & Blacker is a comedy cabaret guaranteed to get audiences laughing, thinking and shimmying in their seats over one action-packed hour of entertainment.
Oliver, the star of ABC's hit television series Black Comedy, a production based on his own life.
Fresh from successful seasons at Sydney Opera House, Brisbane's La Boite Theatre and Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Bigger & Blacker high-kicks its way Mount Isa, Oliver's birthplace of Cloncurry and Julia Creek this week.
Bigger & Blacker combines comedy and contemplation in a show about self-discovery, reflections on love and loss and a candid look at the downside of fame.

"I hope people leave the show feeling joy, hope and challenged in a good way. That just because we look at things, think about things or do things in a certain way, it doesn't always have to be that way. That there are more ways to experience the world and more ways to love it." Oliver said.
Oliver's talents as a singer and songwriter are on full display as he fills theatres with original numbers that run from perky pop, music theatre, urban rap to heart-wrenching ballads.
There is also dance breaks and spicy banter between Oliver and his on-stage companion, Helpmann Award-winning performer and musical director Michael Griffiths.
