A Mount Isa man and 15-year-old youth have been charged after stealing a car left running and knocking over the nearby female owner of the vehicle.

Police said at about 9.10pm on Tuesday, November 30, a man unlawfully entered a vehicle on Short Street.
With the vehicle left running while the female owner was nearby, the suspect allegedly pushed the woman to the ground and drove off.
The woman was struck by the drivers door, falling to the ground and sustaining a laceration to her forehead.
Police said the suspect drove off and picked up a second suspect at another location.
Police located the broken down vehicle and soon after took both suspects into custody.

An 18-year-old Pioneer man has been charged with robbery, Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and driving unlicensed.
He was further charged with enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, in relation to a break at a Marian Street motel on November 27, where he allegedly stole a cash register and soft drinks.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on December 2.
A 15-year-old Pioneer boy was charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He was given bail and is due to appear in the Mount Isa Childrens Court at a later date.
