With free entry, delectable tasting plates prepared by local restaurant pop-up stalls and popular food vendors offering affordable high-quality produce, and lively entertainment from home-grown musicians, Great Australian Bites is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the warm Australian atmosphere with family and friends.
For the first time, Mount Isa will join the Great Australian Bites experience on Saturday May 14, with a fun line-up of local entertainment and tasty treats on offer.
It was originally due to be held on Australia Day but had to be cancelled due to COVID.
But now it's back and you can enjoy delicious food from local restaurants and popular local vendors, while listening to the lively music program from a range of home-grown performers that will provide an evening of entertainment for the whole family.
The event will be held on the Civic Centre Lawn and there will be live music, bake offs, sausage competitions and great food.
Free entry and all ages welcome from 4pm - 9pm.
Great Australian Bites is presented by the Queensland Government in partnership with Mount Isa City Council.
