Police said that between Wednesday, March 30 and Thursday, March 31, a Commercial Road business was allegedly entered, with around 17 vehicles entered and searched and five vehicles sustaining damage.
At about 10pm on Saturday, April 2, police attended a Commercial Road business after reports of an intruder duress alarm. Eight vehicles were entered and searched with two vehicles damaged.
A 17-year-old Mount Isa boy has been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act in relation to enter premises and commit indictable offence, multiple counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and one count of possess dangerous drugs.
A 17-year-old Mount Isa boy has been charged with eight counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence. He was given court bail to appear at a later date.
