The Gregory Race Club has had to cancel its annual race meet due to be held tomorrow thanks to the big wet (Saturday April 30) though there will still be action at the track.

One half of the famous "saddles and paddles" weekend along with the famous Gregory Canoe Marathon, the races has had to be cancelled due to a wet track though the Gregory Race Club said activities will still occur on the track.
The race club said the bar would still open at noon and there would be fashions on the field, kids races, the Gregory Gift footrace, live music, food and novelty events.
However there will no bookmaker on the track.
The Gregory Canoe Marathon will take place as normal on Sunday morning, May 1.
