From not being able to catch up with mates for a schooner, to having to patiently check into venues, COVID-19 has made the last few years interesting for local businesses.
The Isa Hotel is taking the opportunity to give back to the Mount Isa community for their unwavering support by giving away 1000 beef burgers.
"To show our appreciation to our local community for your co-operation and huge support during recent COVID restrictions, we're giving away 1000 free beef burgers from Tuesday 3 May, 12pm," Isa Hotel Venue Manager Mathew Stringer said.
"Not only is this a time to thank our local customers, but it's a time to show our appreciation to the local SES who essentially are mates helping mates, and neighbours helping neighbours when disaster strikes."
For every burger redeemed during this promotion, the Isa Hotel has confirmed they will return the favour to the local SES by donating $2.
All locals need to do is head to the BURGER THAT GIVES 2 BUCKS website page located on www.isahotel.com.au, register their details and if they're amongst the first 1000 entrants they'll receive an SMS code to redeem a free burger.
If locals are successful, they're encouraged to share the burger love by tagging Isa Hotel in any social posts while also using the hashtag #BURGERTHATGIVES2BUCKS. T&Cs apply. See the website for details.
