MOUNT Isa's gymnastics club is taking 31 boys and girls to Hughenden's annual Junior Invitational Competition on August 25-26.

The North West Gymnastics club's teacher Sally Hollier said the boys and girls range in age from four to 12 years.
"It's a great competition; we do our best to support it and our gymnasts and their families look forward to going each year," she said.
"Last year North West Gymnastics received almost 100 placings from first place to sixth place throughout the whole weekend, which was a fantastic effort.
"We would love to be able to achieve the same this year."
