Amaze-ball proved too strong for Pandamonium women, with Kelly Green leading the way, scoring eight points.
Celtics were on fire in their match against Kangas, winning 37-21 on the back of 12 points from shooter Sandy McKavanagh.
Matariki showed it is the team to beat this season, when all their players are in the line-up.
Bessie Pili (13 points) and Wairita Enery (14 points) led the way for Matariki as they cruised to a 45-19 win against Semi Pros.
In the men’s basketball action Home Boiz managed to hold off a fast finishing Pandamonium outfit 31-27.
Aaron Quilty led the way for Home Boiz with 10 points, including some clutch plays down the stretch to secure victory.
Courtney Ward (Blazers) scored a basket within the last minute to edge out Sonic Boom 41-40, with Scott Amor’s 10 points proving the difference.
In the B Grade, Celtics scored 55 points in a fast-paced game to beat Manila 24 with Edward Farlow (14 points), Peter Baker (12 points), Jeffrey Barnwell (12 points) leading the way for Celtics.
P Pride scored 38 points to keep the lead on the competition ladder, defeating Reece by six points. Jomari Casere and Johnmark Laya teamed up to score 20 points for PPride, which was enough to keep Reece at bay.
In other action at the Mount Isa Basketball Stadium, Vixens defeated Strikers 20-6 in the mixed netball.
Wannabees proved too strong for the Cunning Stunts 25-9, while Hawks won a close one against Mixed Nuts 16-12.
The Loose Screws got rid of the shackles and racked up an impressive 39 baskets against Nothing’s Social, who could only manage five.
