Emergency services surrounded the plane to confirm all passengers were safe about 2.25pm.
Emergency services converged on Dubbo Airport after reports a light aircraft may have problems with the undercarriage of the plane.
The plane, with four people on board, circled the airport for about 40 minutes before it landed.
Orana Local Area Command's Inspector Scott Tanner spoke to the media after the incident.
