Students from both the senior and junior campuses gathered at Sunset Park to compete in a range of athletic events.
Principal Denise Kostowski said both the students and teachers enjoyed seeing out the semester with the sports day.
“We think it’s a great way to celebrate the last day of term and get into the psyche of holidays,” she said.
Rifle House Captain Tahlia Cook said the 100 metre sprint was the biggest and best event of the day.
“Everyone sits down and actually watches it and cheers it on,” she said.
Vice Captain Mitchell Hujanen said he was pleased with the turn out to the 2016 athletics carnival.
“It’s great to see that this many people are coming to our sports carnivals,” he said.
“Gradually over the last few years we’ve been improving the numbers at the sports carnival.
“The atmosphere means it’s really nice to be around friends and have a good time,” Mitchell said.
