We are thrilled to announce a partnership with Jack Daniel’s to provide more choice for rodeo-goers looking to treat themselves to a special experience, or for business people wanting to entertain clients or friends.
The Jack Daniel’s Rodeo Lounge is an exclusive air-conditioned double storey marquee, located overlooking the timed event chutes.
Guests will enjoy all-inclusive catering including morning and afternoon tea, buffet lunch and dinner, as well as a full beverage package (spirits, beer, wine and soft drinks).
The addition of the VIP Lounge brings the Isa Rodeo into line with other major events which offered similar exclusive options.
We think it will have strong appeal to guests, who will enjoy non-stop rodeo action due to the marquee’s location near the chutes and TV screens within the marquee.
There will be guest appearances by Miss Rodeo Australia, some of our cowboys and cowgirls, as well as our rodeo mascot Chainsaw, all adding to the atmosphere.
The Jack Daniel’s Rodeo Lounge will operate on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of rodeo weekend (August 12 to 14).
Tickets to the rodeo lounge are available either per day for $250 per person or $599 for the weekend pass (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). All guests must be 18 years or older.
The 2016 rodeo will be a fully ticketed event, meaning a ticket must be purchased for entry into the rodeo perimeter which would be fenced to improve security.
Ashton Entertainment circus and performing arts company operated by three generations of Australia’s most famous circus family will operate up to four free shows per day over the rodeo weekend plus free circus workshops where all ages are welcome to come along and learn some circus skills.
“While anyone who attends will need to buy a ticket we hope our rodeo-goers will agree it represents great value by including entry to the rodeo, free circus show and circus workshop as well as the nightly live concerts on the big stage.
Melbourne-based country rockers Deep Creek Road will perform Friday night of rodeo weekend, while country star Tori Darke will warm up the rodeo stage, before CMC star Mick Lindsay debuts his brand new show on Saturday night.
The talented Karrie Hayward will round out the entertainment on offer, as well as Fred Brophy’s famous Outback Boxing Troupe.
The 2016 Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo will be held from Friday, August 12 to Sunday, August 14. There will be two shows and two Ashton Entertainment workshops on Friday (August 12), then four shows and two workshops on both Saturday and Sunday (August 13 and 14).
