There are two options for Mountain Bike competitors, a 55km route for seasoned riders and a 20 km route for social riders and those new to the sport. The trails are a combination of single track through river beds and along established but not maintained roads and bush tracks, Race Director Dudley Fenwick has asked that everyone consider their level of experience and fitness levels before registering for the 55km ride as some sections are challenging due to hills and track conditions.
Bikes must be suitable for off road riding and be mechanically sound, bikes and equipment will be scrutineered prior to the race and competitors must have a helmet, water and enclosed footwear. Water top ups and support for riders and their bikes will be available.
Event organisers are encouraging competitors and spectators to camp at Rosebud dam on Saturday night and enjoy the show by The Shack team.
The Shack night is open to the public, bring your family and friends for an unforgettable night out.
