A countback was required after three ladies carded an impressive 71 nett with the eventual prize being awarded to Gordon.
Runner up and ball rundown honours were awarded to Eva Gordon and Glenda Fietz respectively.
Liz Jakeman also featured in the ball rundown for her equally impressive 72 nett.
Closest to the pin wards went to Judy Fangrath (10) and Auretta Perrin on holes (5 & 14).
Earlier in the week Eva Gordon fired up the course claiming the Wednesdays Topfire Constructions trophy with a 68 nett in the stroke event.
Liz Jakeman’s score of 72 nett saw her take home the runners-up award.
Closest to the pins went to Glenda Fietz (5 th ), Virginia Trogmuller (12 th ) and Sheila Stewart (14 th ).
The putting champion was Judy Fangrath with 31 putts.
Following the close of play, July’s monthly medals were decided with Alison Gordon coming up trumps in the Silver division, Leila Cashmore with Bronze 1 and Sandra Beattie with Bronze 2.
