Margie McDonald produced a personal best claiming the Raps Surf n Turf 18-hole Stableford event at the Mount Isa Golf Club on the weekend. McDonald outclassed her nearest rivals finishing with an outstanding 47 Stableford points.

A countback was required to decide the runner up trophy when Kirra White and Michelle Cullen both carded an impressive 40 points.
White was awarded the honours for her impressive back nine relegating Cullen ball rundown honours along with Liz Jakeman (37) and Ulla Allen (35).
White rounded out her good performance on the day by claiming the nearest the pins on hole 12 and 14 while Liz Jakeman took the remaining pin shot on hole 2.
Earlier in the week the ladies played for the John Warren trophy in an 18-hole Stableford event.
A countback was required after Angie Sciascia and Sandra Beattie finished with 34 points. Sciascia was eventually awarded the trophy and Beattie the runner up.
Liz Jakeman featured in the ball run down with 32 points.
Nearest the pins were shared around with Eva Gordon on hole 2, Rebecca Nankivell on hole 11 and Ulla Allen on hole 14.
