First up is their Retro Day on Saturday June 30, where athletes compete in events that are no longer run on club days and ones that have dormant records that would normally never get challenged.
Retro days have proven popular with about a quarter of the club athletes turning out to have a crack at a myriad of events.
The following day will be the annual Throws Pentathlon where athletes are required to throw shot put, discus, javelin, hammer and weight throw before their points are tallied up to determine the overall winner.
Club days will continue at Sunset Oval from 2pm every Saturday up until the school holidays and beyond.
New registrations are accepted all season and budding athletes aged from 4-years-old right through to 100+ are accepted.
The club offers two free trial day for anyone who may be undecided. Club training for registered athletes of all ages is now held Friday from 4.30pm.
