Club manager Kylie Brooke said all their kids who have competed in 2018 have excelled past their levels and setting some outstanding personal bests.
“They can all be very proud of the hard work and standard that they have shown in training,” Ms Brooke said.
In Townsville Ebony Duncan placed second on Beam and third on Bars rivalling the coastal clubs.

“The support from the parents and the kids commitment this year has really set them up for success” Kylie Kylie. “Our Level 1 and 2’s are the ones to watch. We are so proud of their effort and commitment to the sport and their progress. They were amazing on the floor and are such a pleasure to coach.”
Kylie said the boys squad under Rhygan Werrett have started to shine with Jaxon taking out first in Level 2 and Darcy third. Eli and Darcy placed first and third respectively in Level 1 and will now move on higher levels.
“We are excited about Term 3 as we head to Junior Regionals and State Championships and refine our programs. Our recreational Acrobatic classes are taking off for those kids that just get enjoyment from the social and physical fun of the sport. We are running great programs in the recreational and competitive spaces and have found our recreational programs a great compliment for dance students wishing to incorporate advanced skills in their performances,” she said. “We have great coaches with Advanced Qualifications in Tumbling, Women’s, Men’s and Acro gymnastics which allows us to offer some diversity.”
Kylie gave a huge thanks to the Mount Isa community and local businesses for supporting the parents and kids competition attendance with Ostojic sponsoring Townsville Competitors and 2PH the State Championship families.
