The Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic is back again this weekend which means so is the dragon boat regatta.
The dragon boats are a colourful part of the Classic and one of the most popular features of the Saturday afternoon as the crowd cheers on their team from the shoreline.
The call is out to individuals, teams, corporate and community groups to get a team together for this year’s race and each team must have 14 people on the boat with a cost of $200 per boat.
There will be a 400m time trial on the Lake with the three fastest teams from the heats going through to the final with cash prizes for the winners - there is $1200 up for grabs.
Heat one of the dragon boat regatta begins at 12:30pm on Saturday with the final to kick off at 3:30pm.
The Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic 2018 is on October 26 to 28.
