The World Challenge offers empowering journeys for students who are ready to step outside their comfort zones, explore the world and come back forever changed.
Ms Whitehead said the journey will be different for everyone, it’ll be an adventure.
“Some students may not have ventured out in to the big wide world yet so lacing up some hiking boots or sleeping in a tent may be a whole new experience for them.
“While others might be adventure buffs,” she said.
The World Challenge is a journey were students travel for 3-4 weeks to a destination.
The students immerse themselves in the culture, learn leadership, conservation efforts, assist in communities by helping build things.
“Essentially, it builds life skills young people need to live a life of courage, kindness and adventure,” Ms Whitehead
An information night will be held at Spinifex Senior Campus Library, Friday Nov 2 from 5.30pm.
“The information night is for all high school students in Mount Isa and surrounding regions.”
Chris Halsall, from the World Challenge National Schools Manager, Asia Pacific will be presenting.
