Junior boys and girls had the opportunity to be selected for the Mount Isa Rugby League representative teams.
The juniors participated in drills and skills session as the league looks to fill three teams across all divisions.
MIRL are looking for players to fill Under 13s, Under 14s and Under 16s boys and Under 14s and Under 16s girls at representative level.
Nineteen kids for each age group will then be selected and they will train as a team for a few weeks, get to learn their plays and benefit from learning new skills and gain exposure to representative football.
The teams will then travel to Atherton to compete in the Rep Carnival on May 11.
There they will take on teams from Atherton and Innisfail out of which a country team will be selected for the North Queensland championships in Charters Towers on June 9.
