The Games are held over two weekends from June 22 to 30 across North Queensland.
Registrations are open, register online at www.nqsports.com.au and you automatically go into the draw to win a $250 fuel voucher.
There will be 18 sports to choose from along the Overlander's Way from Charters Towers to Mount Isa.
Charters Towers will host athletics, boxing, golf, karting and tennis
Hughenden will host the Porcupine Gorge Challenge, Stamford footraces and gymnastics
Richmond will be home to horse sports while in Mount Isa there will be nine events - dragon boating, duathlon, cycling, hockey, motocross, lawn bowls, mountain biking, pistol shooting and trail run/walk.
There is some big prize money at some events including a $10,390 prize pool at the dualthon, $1200 at the dragon boating and $2260 on offer at the Porcupine Gorge Challenge.
Former rugby league star Neville Costigan will be the Games Ambassador this year.

Costigan was a Papua New Guinea international and Queensland State of Origin representative forward who played in the 2000s and 2010s and played NRL for the Brisbane Broncos, the Canberra Raiders, the St. George Illawarra Dragons (with whom he won the 2010 NRL Grand Final) and Newcastle Knights.
Costigan then finished his career in the Super League with the Hull Kingston Rovers.
This year's special guest will be Australian hockey international Mark Knowles.
Knowles is a multiple Commonwealth Games gold medallist and four-time Olympian winning a gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics along with a bronze medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and 2012 London Olympics. He was also the 2018 Commonwealth Games flag bearer and now works at the Queensland Academy of Sports as a personal development advisor.
Knowles will be a special guest at hockey during the weekend on June 21-23 and will conduct coaching clinics.
The Mount Isa Hockey Fields will also host the opening ceremony Friday June 21 at 5.45pm
There will be a march past, athletes oath, officials oath, games and entertainment and you can meet Neville Costigan and Mark Knowles. Drinks and food on sale.
