When White and Briant trailed the leaders after day one by four shots, they thought their chances of a win were dashed. But on Sunday the pair carded an outstanding 79 gross to make them the team to beat.
Briant's domination and length off the tee, combined with White's pinpoint accuracy around the greens proved to be the winning formula, as the pair eventually claimed top honours by one stroke.
Their gross score of 163 over the two-day weekend event narrowly edged out their nearest rivals Auretta Perrin and Ted Choyce who were awarded the runner-up place with 164.
Close scores were also recorded in the handicap division with husband and wife team Tom and Judy Fangrath taking the winning spot with 142 nett edging out the runner-up team of Mark Thinee and Angie Sciascia on 143.
The Best Nett on Day 1 went to Alison Gordon and Ronnie Corstiaans, while husband and wife team Sandra and Dave Beattie dominated on Day 2.
The nearest-to-pin winners on Saturday were: Kirra White (hole 2), Auretta Perrin (hole 5, 12 and 18) and Judy Fangrath (hole 14).
The following day, the nearest-to-pin winners were: Matt Briant (hole 4), Dom Cullen (hole 6), Michelle Cullen (hole 8), Auretta Perrin (hole 11), Mark Thinee (hole 14), Kirra White (hole 16) and Ted Choyce (hole 18).

Bal run down honours went to Liz Jakeman after a countback with Elain White when both finished on 78 nett.
