Officers from Camooweal joined together with Avon Downs Station and were deployed to Alpurrururlam to maintain peace and good order at the funeral for a respected Elder with few issues reported.
Both jurisdictions took part in a road safety campaign aimed at stopping sly grog from arriving into Tennant Creek, and other Northern Territory communities.
To round out the joint operation, both jurisdictions came together to patrol the Camooweal cricket weekend and a funeral in Camooweal.
The operation found one drink driver (0.159 per cent BAC), one disqualified driver, one unlicensed driver, one state false name, one forfeiture vehicle, one drive unregistered vehicle, two bail act warrant, one serious obstruct police, one public nuisance, two infringement for not wearing seat belt, one drive vehicle with no lights, one speeding, and one non-compliance with log book.
The operation also resulted in the seizure of 22.4 litres of alcohol at the Northern Territory and Queensland border, through 15 vehicle searches.
Officers also conducted 100 negative Roadside Breath Tests.
