With 1100 first round campdraft nominations, the committee is expecting a big crowd with competitors coming from across North West Queensland, Central Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Club secretary Tammy McCoy said a few changes had been made to this year's program.
"This year we have added the Ladies Draft and a Bareback Cut Out to the event schedule," Ms McCoy said.
"This was to replace the previous Battle of the Borders event and freshen up the program."
Ms McCoy said the three day program provided a great opportunity for everyone to catch up and watch some competitive campdrafting.
"The event is an opportunity to bring the community together," she said.
"It has been a tough year with the floods and the drought, so it gets people together and provides relief from the pressure back on the cattle stations.
"People really enjoy coming into town to watch the competition in both the campdraft and the rodeo."
On Friday May 31 the campdrafting will start off with the Novice A, Maiden A, Maiden for Maiden, Ladies Draft and Bareback Cutout.
Saturday June 1 shall see the Maiden B, Mini Draft, Junior Draft, Juvenile Draft, Open Draft and Barrel Race. That evening at 6pm the rodeo will kick off with the Bull Ride, Crazy Cow Ride, Station Buckjump, Saddle Bronc and Calf Ride.
Sunday will have the Novice B, Kids Gymkhana, Restricted Open and conclude with the finals.
"Food, bar and trade stalls will be available all weekend," Ms McCoy said.
"We will only be taking cash at the grounds but there are Eftpos services in town."
