Two boys have been charged with a number of offences committed between 8pm Sunday July 7, and 5am Monday July 8, with investigations continuing.

It is alleged that sometime during these hours, three youths entered the yard of a Palmer Street address and attempted to enter the bathroom window, by removing the fly screen. They were unsuccessful in gaining entry.
Between 11.30pm and 11.45pm the same night, it is alleged they damaged a security grill to the reception area of a Sheaffe Street licenced premises.
It is further alleged the boys have smashed the glass panel of a fire extinguisher case in an attempt to remove the extinguisher, but were disturbed by a witness and fled.
This same night, police will allege they attempted to gain entry to a room of a Sheaffe Street motel by manipulating louvers, but were unsuccessful.
A 14-year-old Cloncurry boy has been charged with one count each of enter premises, attempted enter premises, wilful damage, attempted enter dwelling and trespass.
A 13-year-old Cloncurry boy has been charged with one count each of attempted enter premises, attempted enter dwelling and enter premises by break.
They will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
