At 11.30pm on Friday September 13, it is alleged two women were having a verbal argument which escalated to a physical altercation on the roadway of Yallambie Reserve.
It is alleged one of the women then entered a nearby dwelling and returned, holding a 15cm bladed kitchen knife and verbally threatened to harm the other woman.
Emergency services officers were in the area treating other persons, when they observed the woman with the knife and had to promptly drive away with patients onboard.
A 19-year-old Ingham woman has been charged with going armed so as to cause fear.
She is due to appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on September 23.
