Thousands of people visit Julia Creek every April for the festival centred around one of Australia's toughest triathlons but also includes a PBR, music concerts and a day at the races among other events.
But with people moving on, Dirt N Dust have put out the call for new members to help make it run smoothly.
They have designed a "wanted" poster asking for "filthy people" to join Australia's "dirtiest festival"
"Do you live and breathe the Dirt n Dust festival? Do you want to make sure it's around for years to come?" the poster asks.
"If you said yes then you are just who we are looking for."
"We are searching for enthusiastic community members to join our committee to enable the Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival to continue!!"
The Dirt N Dust committee said that if anyone wanted to have meaningful input in the running of the event, and can get to a meeting one night a month, there were many roles up for grabs.
You could consider joining the management committee where your opinion and ideas will be valued and implemented to keep the festival fresh and fun for everyone.
Or if you're more of a hands-on person then why not join a sub-committee where you can get involved in the nitty gritty on the day and interact with all the amazing people who come to Dirt n Dust every year.
"Working alongside friends, old and new, you would be vital in ensuring the event goes off without a hitch," the committee said.
Sub committee roles that need to be filled include Novelty Events Coordinator, Catering Coordinator, Stall Coordinator, Merchandise Coordinator, Site Manager, Bar Manager, Bar Ticketing Manager, Bus Driver / Support, Meet n Greet Coordinator.
If you think you could fill any of these roles, contact Casey Mitchell Dirt N Dust Events Logistics Officer on 0448 901 392 or email assistant@dirtndust.com.
The next Dirt N Dust festival is on April 17-19, 2020.
