The first match had Cloncurry looking to bounce back against the Keas after a recent dip in form.
Cloncurry were given an advantage with the Keas only having 12 players total and Cloncurry having a handy three on the bench.
Keas knew they had to come out extra hard if they were going to have any chance of winning.
They did exactly that crossing the line first and heading into the sheds at half time down just two points 5-7.
Cloncurry forward EJ Barker said they weren't getting the fundamentals right.
"We weren't holding the ball and we were getting in each other's road," Barker said.
Barker said it was only when the Keas started to get a bit tired in the second half that they started to take advantage of the extra men.
"We then put on a few tries and the game opened up for us.
"Our new bloke Ryan Marr and Cloncurry native William Walton had great games," Barker said.
The numerical advantage would prove to play a big factor as the score broke out to 31-5 at full time to Cloncurry.

The second match was a good clean game with even numbered teams.
The Warrigals played really well and put up a good fight but went down 53-5.
Euros committee member Jill Martin said the score did not reflect what a tough game it was.
"The boys certainly had to work hard to get over the try line each and every time," Ms Martin said.
Next weekend is the final game before the Christmas break and there is only one point between first and second, then one point between second and third.
