At 3.30pm on February 19, police attended a Wright Rd address when they recognised a man in the carport who was wanted on outstanding warrants.

He allegedly entered the rear of the house, locked the back and front doors. He then allegedly then fled on foot, refused to comply with the officers directions to stop and jumped the back fence. He was located and arrested in a nearby Wright Road address. A 35-year-old Healy man was charged with two counts of evade police and driving unlicensed.
These offences which allegedly occurred in West End in January and Hermit Park in February. He was also charged with one count of obstruct police.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on March 12.
