Sometime between 10pm Saturday and 10am Sunday offenders attended the local post office on Darwin St, where they used a power tool to remove an ATM from the veranda.
The machine was then dragged along the wooden surface, where it is believed to have been loaded onto the back of a vehicle.
No attempt was made to enter the post office.
Anyone with dashcam vision or further information is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
