The QMF Absolutely Everybody Ensemble is looking for individuals, choirs, small groups, young, old, and well, everybody, to join in singing Vanessa Amorosi's classic hit Absolutely Everybody!
The QMF said Absolutely Everybody is an epic new vocal ensemble, celebrating diversity and inclusivity, radiating from the heart of Brisbane.
That means everybody in Mount Isa too and Khovy Inthavong, Choir Master for The Rolling Tones and the Choral Director Mount Isa Community Ensemble Choirs wants locals to join in.
"The Rolling Tones is registered for the ensemble and will start rehearsals after Australia Day," Mr Inthavong said.
"At the end of rehearsals, everybody taking part is invited to the Brisbane Riverstage on May 15 to sing the song and film a music video."
Mr Inthavong said if Mount Isa people can't travel, they will upload a video of locals singing and QMF will edit it into the music video.
"For anyone young or old who wish to join us, please contact rollingtones.isa@gmail.com with full contact details," he said.
"We will be rehearsing at St Joseph's Penola Centre Music Room every Wednesday at 6:30pm."
