Police said that at about 9.45pm on Saturday, April 3, juvenile offenders attended a Landsborough St sporting club and cut a hole in the perimeter fencing, at the rear of the premises.
Police said the youths have used a set of garden shears to cut power to a sensor light and CCTV camera and to remove fly screens from multiple external windows.
They then used a metal pole to detach the CCTV camera from its mounting bracket, as well as using it to pry a further fly screen from a kitchen window, successfully removing part of the window.
Using an upturned wheelie bin, offenders gained access to the kitchen, however a security alarm disrupted them.
A 15-year-old Normanton boy and a 13-year-old Normanton boy have both been charged with enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence and wilful damage.
Both boys have been given police bail and are due to appear in the Normanton Childrens Court at a later date.
Investigations are continuing.
