A Mount Isa youth has been charged with burglary of a house in Deighton Street.

Police said at about 9.30am on Wednesday, April 7, the boy aged 16 used a screwdrive to pry open the front fly screen and a second door.
He entered the dwelling and conducted a search, however fled with only a small amount of cash, once an alarm activated.
The owner of the address received an alert on his mobile phone, that his doorbell camera had picked up a motion and recorded the boy at his front door.
The boy was also wanted for questioning in relation to outstanding property offences.
The 16-year-old Pioneer boy has been charged with burglary and commit indictable offence, enter premises and commit indictable offence and receiving tainted property.
He was dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
