It's heading to Upper Horton, New South Wales, home of cowboy Troy Wilkinson who led after Saturday's round with a stunning 87.50 point ride.
But the pressure was on in the final round after Thallon cowboy Cameron Southern and Mount Isa's own Donovan Rutherford piled up the points in excellent eight second efforts.
Southern finished third in the end with a combined total of 173.5pts behind second place Josh Jones from Kingaroy who had an excellent total of 235.5 points.

It seemed as if Jones had the buckle in the bag until Wilkinson came out last and smashed his ride to claim another 83.5 points and a grand total of 252 points to win his first Mount Isa buckle.
"I've been coming for 10 years and this is first time I made the final," he said.
"I don't think much during the ride, just hang on."
Best mates from Cameron Corner, Fred Osman and Tony Caldwell won the Open Bronc Riding titles, with Fred coming out of retirement to win his second Isa Rodeo Bareback title and Australian Saddlebronc champion Tony finally winning his first Isa Saddlebronc buckle after 15 years of trying.
Perhaps the loudest cheers of the weekend were for the three young cowboys tied for the win in the poddy calf ride: Tately Spain, Clay Gill and Byron Kirk.
