An Atherton Tablelands man will face court after an incident in Mount Isa on the weekend.

Police said that around 8pm on Saturday, October 2, two men known to each other left a licensed premises, where one man allegedly punched the other in the face without warning.
Police said the offender later attended the other man's accommodation on Little West Street, attempting to gain entry and shouting threats of violence.
The alleged offender called the other man's phone repeatedly, allegedly threatening to kill the victim and his family.
Police arrived a short time later and located the man sitting outside the accommodation, where they will allege he was non-compliant and aggressive towards police.
A 30-year-old Mareeba man has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm, commit public nuisance, use of a carriage service to make a threat to cause serious harm, serious assault police officer and contravene requirement.
He is due to appear in the Mount Isa Magistrates Court on November 1.
