The tour will run from November 3 to December 10 with the Mount Isa performance to be held at the Civic Centre on November 24.
There will also be a performance at the Cloncurry Shire Hall on November 27, and a showing at the Julia Creek Civic Centre on November 28.
Bigger and Blacker is a comedy cabaret guaranteed to get audiences laughing, thinking and shimmying in their seats over one action-packed hour of entertainment.
Oliver, the star of ABC's hit television series Black Comedy, is frocked up and fabulous in the production based on his own life.
Fresh from successful seasons at Sydney Opera House, Brisbane's La Boite Theatre and Adelaide Cabaret Festival, the tour will see him visiting Mount Isa and his birthplace of Cloncurry.
Bigger and Blacker combines comedy and contemplation in a show laced with saucy gossip, self-discovery, reflections on love and loss and a candid look at the downside of fame.
"OK, so think of tonight as the most entertaining, fabulous and relatively cheap cultural awareness training," Oliver tells his audiences as the lights dim and the music soars," Mr Oliver said.
"I miss those days before Black Comedy, it's not that I regret it, but fame made me anxious."
Oliver's talents as a singer and songwriter are on full display as he fills theatres with original numbers that run from perky pop and urban rap to heart-wrenching ballads.
Throw in a disco ball, dance breaks and spicy banter between Oliver and his on-stage companion, Helpmann Award-winning performer and musical director Michael Griffiths, and the result is a fabulous and generous evening of storytelling.
