A doctor accused of the stealth-rape of another man says he was just as worried as his accuser when he realised he was no longer wearing a condom.

Sydney dermatologist Dr Liang Joo Leow, 46, went back to the man's Melbourne home in June 2017 after a night of dinner and drinking, a court has heard.
During the dinner they discussed Leow's participation in a medical trial protecting users from HIV, as well as his undertaking to continue practising in safe sex to be a part of the trial.
Leow told the court during that conversation, he and his accuser discussed that it would be "stupid" to have sex without a condom because the medicine didn't protect him from other sexually transmitted diseases like chlamydia and gonorrhoea.
When they went to the man's home, the pair began engaging in consensual sexual acts but the complainant told Leow to put a condom on before they continued any further.
Leow complied and the alleged victim kept checking whether the condom was on properly, but after sometime he noticed it had come off.
Leow said after a quick search he found the condom next to his thigh and apologised that the condom had come off.
"I never took the condom off," Leow told the County Court of Victoria on Monday.
"He seemed very stressed and it was stressing me as well.
"It affected me just as much as it affected him."
Previously, the court heard the complainant alleged when he stopped Leow, he said he'd taken off the condom because it felt better that way.
Leow strongly denied those claims on Monday.
He has pleaded not guilty to charges of rape and procuring sexual penetration by fraud.
His barrister Dermot Dann KC told the court the condom came off accidentally.
Leow was awarded an Order of Australia medal in 2020 for his service to medicine and the community.
The trial will continue on Tuesday.
