Plenty of showgoers were abuzz with anticipation to see the medieval event, with scenes akin to popular movie, A Knight's Tale.
And they weren't disappointed. Mr Walker, who stars in Full Metal Jousting - the program screened on Foxtel's A&E channel - teamed up with Sarah Hay for the performance many of the showgoers had pencilled in as the unmissable event for the day.
The pair, decked out in 35-40 kg of full metal armour, started the proceedings by separately working the laneway and using their jousting stick to hit the bulls eye.
But it was when they came at each other from opposite directions that the crowd really warmed to the event.
Colliding at speeds of up to 50 kmh, parts of their timber sticks were sent flying.
Mr Walker and Ms Hay agreed the sticky conditions made the battle more difficult.
