Barry Byrne coordinated the get-together and said he wanted to thank the library staff for the support and the effort they went to as up to 60 people were expected according to previous years events.
“They are fantastic, they set up the area and organised the food for the morning tea,” Mr Byrne said.
“There are two types of partakers, the ones who come specifically for the celebration and the ones who turn up at the library, it’s certainly appreciated.”
Deputy mayor, Phil Barwick attended and said it was an honour to be present at the gathering.
“The Queen has been reigning longer than I have been alive. Remarkable and I am looking forward to next year’s anniversary as well,” Cr Barwick said.
