Most of the final series has been washed out in the past two weeks but we should get a full day’s cricket for the decider.
The two sides finished first and second in the season and were scheduled to play the semi-final two weeks ago but the game was cancelled due to the big wet.
Black Stars were deemed the winners as minor premiers and advanced to the final. Then last weekend Panthers were drawn to play Cavaliers who knocked out Western Bulls in the only completed game of the finals.
The Panthers v Cavs game started as scheduled but was deemed a washout after Panthers were unable to complete their innings and Cavaliers hadn’t batted.
The higher placed side Panthers progressed through to the grand final at Sunset Oval starting 10am Saturday.
