Mount Isa Mayor Joyce McCulloch said Wednesday she spent a productive and exciting morning working with the Engineering Department reviewing the plans to upgrade and give the town pool a new lease of life.

“Our Town pool has not had a refurbishment since 2000,” Cr McCulloch said.
“Modern change rooms, vibrant colours, BBQ’s and a new entry and kiosk area are some of the improvements”.
The project will be delivered in stages, with funding being sought.
