Friday December 21 – At around 1am, a 20 year old Townview man was intercepted on Abel Smith Parade for the purpose of a roadside breath test (RBT) and recorded a reading of 0.136 per cent blood alcohol concentration (BAC).

The man did not hold a current driver licence and was issued with a notice of immediate disqualification.
He was charged with middle range drink driving, unlicenced driving and is due to appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on January 9.
Saturday December 22 – At around 4.30am, a 32 year old Cloncurry man was intercepted on Simpson Street for the purpose of an RBT and recorded a reading of .112 BAC.
The man was issued with a notice of suspension, charged with middle range range drink driving and is due to appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on January 21.
Saturday December 22 – At around 2.15pm, a 48 year old Healy man was intercepted in relation to a speeding offence on Duchess Road. An RBT was conducted and the man recorded a reading of .100 BAC.
The man was issued with a notice of suspension, charged with middle range drink driving and disobeying the speed limit. He is due to appear in Mount Isa Magistrates Court on January 21.
