The season opener sees Black Stars take on Brothers at 2.50pm.
That will be followed by the clash between Wanderers and Town at 4.30pm with the Devils hoping to send a message to the back-to-back premiers that they are back in business in 2019.
Fifth team Cloncurry have the bye this weekend.
