Gillian Lee has been providing high performance netball coaching for 30 years and put local girls through their paces at Wellington Oval.
"There's a couple of skills I'm passionate about," Gillian said. "Because I'm only here for a once off session for each group, I really have to choose the skills I think will make a difference tomorrow in their game."
She said it was all about loving the game and learning the basics but with the older aged groups the training was more tactical. "Hopefully we can find the next young Diamonds," she said.
Originally from Victoria, Gillian is now on the road with her partner.
"We're nomads, we driving our caravan across Australia," she said.
"But I was thinking I was missing my netball so I started putting the word out before we get to places."
Her coaching credits include the Cayman Islands national netball team from 2012-13.
"That was certainly a life changing experience," she said.
